Sunday Lunch
Called in on the off chance at 3pm sunday dinners would still be served. Pleased they do till 6pm. Really lovely pub. Clean and welcoming. Staff friendly and polite. Lovely eating area. Nice tables, seating and table decorations. Dinner was beautiful. Well presented, beef cooked to perfection. Wished id been given brussel sprouts as well but thats just a favourite if mine. I had baileys cheesecake, the desert was to die for and presented lovely so i would have it again. All in all a lovely experience which i would recommend. We will be back

The meal that my wife and myself had on Thursday 18 July can only described a delicious. well presented and full of taste. As usual up to chef Ben's usual standard. The landlord Mike and his wife Jenny couldn't have been more welcoming and the waitress really helpfull and efficient, the atmosphere was just right. We will definately return again very soon.
Sunday Dinner
Lovely!!!!!!!!! King prawns for starter were delicious. Garlic mushrooms were plentiful! Nice big portion. The steak pie was swimming in gravy and the beef fell apart! SO well cooked! The turkey dinner was cooked perfectly too.Puddings very well presented. Cant complain about any of it. Lovely hearty grub and nice waiter and waitresses.
